The accommodation at Walking on Water was excellent, on arrival we received a very friendly greeting from our hosts Andre and Magdel Kruger. Our car was parked off the road in the garage beneath the living accommodation which leads into the very comfortable and spacious Lounge from where there are stairs leading up to the three bedrooms.
Our en-suite bedroom was delightful, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated with a very comfortable Queen size bed, lovely linen sheets, comfortable chairs, fridge and a balcony where you can sit and admire the spectacular view of the Lagoon. Breakfasts are superb and served in the Lounge area, the menu is changed each day and Breakfast is followed by an informative talk about the history of the Lagoon the surrounding area and the sights to visit.
The West Coast Nature Reserve is well worth a visit with its famous Lagoon, White sand, turquoise water and abundance of wildlife. We also visited the fossil museum which is a car ride away, but makes a fascinating and worthwhile visit - try to arrive when the Guide is available for a most informative tour.
Our three days at WOW came to and end far to soon, it was a most perfect stay, our Hosts so friendly and helpful. Thank you Andre and Magdel for making our time with you so memorable and enjoyable and hopefully we look forward to being with you again one day.
